Scott is a visionary physical, digital and experiential product design innovator, brand builder, business strategist, and design subject matter expert. He’s an accomplished leader of large-scale design programs that transform brands, businesses and industries with strategic vision, product and brand design, user experiences and services, while shaping creative cultures of innovation and collaboration. Scott possesses a profound business acumen and a unique ability leveraging design-thinking to increase global market share and drive business performance, resulting in sustainable growth for Fortune 500 companies and startups alike, while acting as an advisor to C-Suite leadership.
Scott is currently the Chief Creative Officer at Vault; an innovation firm that applies creativity, strategy, design and data to establish differentiation, drive growth, and transform businesses at scale. His past creative leadership roles include Vice President, Brand Design and Activation at Flextronics, Executive Creative Director at Designpad, Chief Creative Officer at Lumium, Executive Creative Director at Frog, Vice President of Design and Development at Targus Group International, and Vice President of Design at Studio Roundhouse where he assisted the company in achieving #25 on the Inc. 500 list for fastest-growing companies in America. Scott’s client facing experience includes engagements with: Google, Apple, Qualcomm, Unilever, General Electric, Ingersoll Rand, GlaxoSmithKline, McKesson, Jarden and Hewlett Packard; to name a few.
Scott has taught practice-based studio and lecture courses at Art Center College of Design, NYU Stern School of Business, and the Academy of Art University. Scott has sat as a member on curriculum leadership teams, contributed to international curriculum development, created graduate level course syllabi, and provided mentorship to Master Degree candidates during thesis execution.
Scott received a Bachelor of Science in Product Design from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California, and completed a Product Design internship at Frog Design. During that time, he was awarded Distinction in multiple, professional, international design competitions.
